The one figure that matters most is the one this page is built around: the maker’s own room volume range. A heater without a published range cannot be honestly matched to a room by anyone, including us, and the records below say so plainly instead of filling the gap with a formula. When a range exists, the maker guidance across the industry is consistent: land your room in the middle of it, because a heater at the top of its range runs continuously and still trails.
After the range, read the controls. Built-in dials are the simple, cheap answer and mean walking out to start the room. Wall controls move the decision inside the door. App control means the room is hot when you get there, and it is the one convenience owners consistently report using. None of these change the heat. All of them change the ritual, and the ritual is what you are buying.
